How do I delete my account?
Visit our data deletion page or email support@thelooplocals.app from the address registered to your account. Your data will be removed within 24 hours.
How do I turn off background location?
Open your device Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → The Loop Locals → select "While Using" or "Never". Background location is used only for Bounty proximity alerts.
What are Loop Drops?
Loop Drops are in-app credits earned by posting Truth Drops, completing Bounties, and referring friends. They can be redeemed for rewards at participating local merchants.
What is a Bounty?
Bounties are location-tagged challenges posted by verified local merchants. Complete the task, submit your verification, and earn Loop Drops as a reward.
Why does the app ask for background location?
Background location powers the Pulse Radius geofence — it alerts you when active Bounties or merchant Drops are within your area, even when the app is closed. You can decline this permission without losing access to the app's core features.
How do I report a bug or issue?
Email support@thelooplocals.app with a description of the issue, your device model, and OS version.
